Srinivas Vasantharajan

Srinivas Vasantharajan is an Executive Managing Director and Chief Information Officer at Sculptor Capital. In this role, Mr. Vasantharajan is responsible for leading the IT group as well as managing architecture, design, development, integration and support of applications that support Sculptor Capital’s investment professionals and global infrastructure professionals in investing, trading, corporate and control functions.

Mr. Vasantharajan has over 25 years of experience in technology and finance. Prior to joining Sculptor Capital, he was a Senior Vice President and headed Middle and Back office IT for D.E. Shaw & Co and managed their re-engineering program. Prior to that, he was a Principal at Vanguard.

Mr. Vasantharajan was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell labs and part of the team that built the Unix operating system. Mr. Vasantharajan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh.
