Ross Rosenfelt is a Managing Director and U.S. Corporate Credit Analyst for Sculptor Capital focused primarily on distressed and special situations credit investments within Sculptor Capital’s Opportunistic Credit strategy. In this role, Mr. Rosenfelt is responsible for, among other things, helping Sculptor Capital navigate the numerous legal and inter-creditor disputes that often occur leading up to and during chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings. In addition, Mr. Rosenfelt regularly assists members of the Institutional Credit Strategies team in their review of credit documentation during the underwriting process.
Mr. Rosenfelt has spent much of his career in distressed and special situations investing. Prior to joining Sculptor Capital in 2012, Mr. Rosenfelt was a Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at BlackRock, a Vice President in the distressed products group at R3 Capital Partners (prior to its acquisition by BlackRock), a Vice President in the Global Principal Strategies group at Lehman Brothers and a Vice President at Deutsche Bank Securities. Prior to that, he was an Associate in the Bankruptcy & Corporate Reorganization practice at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.
Mr. Rosenfelt holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
