Peter Wallach

Peter Wallach is an Executive Managing Director and member of the Office of the CIO, the Partner Management Committee, the Portfolio Committee, and the Credit Funds’ Investment Committees for Sculptor Capital. In these roles, Mr. Wallach oversees investment activities across the Firm’s multi-strategy and credit portfolios. He also serves as Chief Risk Officer and chairs the Firm’s Risk Committee, where he leads portfolio construction including the allocation of capital and calibration of risk. The Risk team develops tools and technology and delivers content and analysis to manage the Firm’s active risk process. Mr. Wallach’s background spans all asset classes including equities, credit, asset based finance, convertibles, and derivatives.

Mr. Wallach was previously a Senior U.S. Asset Based Finance Analyst and Trader, where he focused on identifying, analyzing, and implementing strategies across the spectrum of asset based finance investments for Sculptor Capital.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2011, Mr. Wallach was a Senior Analyst at Moore Capital Management. Before that, he held various roles at Citigroup and at Bank of America. Mr. Wallach holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College.
