Peter Wallach

Peter Wallach is an Executive Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer for Sculptor Capital. He is a member of the Firm’s Partner Management Committee, Portfolio Committee, Credit Funds’ Investment Committees, and he chairs the Risk Committee. Mr. Wallach focuses on portfolio construction, including the allocation of capital and calibration of risk across Sculptor’s multi-strategy and credit funds. The Risk team develops tools and technology and delivers content and analysis to manage the Firm’s active risk process.

Mr. Wallach’s background spans all asset classes including equities, credit, asset based finance, convertibles, and derivatives. He was previously a Senior U.S. Asset Based Finance Analyst and Trader, where he focused on identifying, analyzing and implementing strategies across the spectrum of asset based finance investments for Sculptor Capital.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2011, Mr. Wallach was a Senior Analyst at Moore Capital Management. Before that, he held various roles at Citigroup and at Bank of America.

Mr. Wallach holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College.
