Michael Colodner

Michael Colodner is a Managing Director and Corporate Credit Analyst for Sculptor Capital. In this capacity, Mr. Colodner is responsible for sourcing, diligencing and managing corporate credit investments for the Firm’s Opportunistic Credit strategy.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2024, Mr. Colodner served as the U.S. High Yield and Distressed Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management. Preceding his tenure at Balyasny, Mr. Colodner spent 15 years at Solus Alternative Asset Management where he was a Partner with a focus on Energy, Power, and Industrials. Earlier in his career he held positions as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank and Legg Mason.

Mr. Colodner graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Maryland, College Park.
