Gregory Hertzig

Gregory Hertzig is an Executive Managing Director and Merger Arbitrage Analyst for Sculptor Capital. In this role, he collaborates daily with colleagues across the Firm globally, developing theses for hard-catalyst investing.

Prior to joining Sculptor Capital in 2008, Mr. Hertzig worked on Wall Street, mainly specializing in merger arbitrage and hard-catalyst investing. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Sandell Asset Management and a Senior Vice President at Twin Capital Management.

Mr. Hertzig is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. He is also an active member of the development committee at Stevens Cooperative School in New Jersey and has participated in the Haymakers for Hope boxing competition, which raises money and awareness for cancer research.
