Eric Newman is a Managing Director and Corporate Credit Analyst for Sculptor Capital. In his role, Mr. Newman focuses on investments in public and private credit markets in the Firm’s opportunistic credit strategy.
Prior to joining Sculptor in January 2023, Mr. Newman was an investment research analyst at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo. Preceding that, Mr. Newman served as a principal/analyst at River Birch Capital and prior to that, a restructuring investment banker at Miller Buckfire.
Mr. Newman holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economics summa cum laude from Georgetown University, Walsh School of Foreign Service.
