Askia Abdul-Qadir

Askia Abdul-Qadir is a Managing Director, Senior Controller and Head of Credit Operations for Sculptor Capital. In this role, Mr. Abdul-Qadir drives the long-term operational strategy for Sculptor Capital Credit Strategies. He oversees all operational functions that support portfolio management and trading across the firm’s credit businesses. He is responsible for designing the operational infrastructure for the Institutional Credit Strategies platform and building out a global infrastructure footprint.

Mr. Abdul-Qadir has over 15 years of experience in investment operations. Prior to joining Sculptor Capital in 2013, Mr. Abdul-Qadir was a Vice President of Fund Compliance/Trade Support with MJX Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Abdul-Qadir worked at Citi in the Corporate Investment Banking division as a senior associate.

Mr. Abdul-Qadir holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from John Jay College.
