Andrew Cohen is a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Sculptor Real Estate, where he holds overall responsibility for the asset management of Sculptor Real Estate’s equity and debt investments in the United States and Europe.
Prior to joining Sculptor Real Estate in 2014, Mr. Cohen was a Director in the Commercial Real Estate, Special Situations Group at Deutsche Bank where his role included sourcing, structuring, and asset managing high-yield loans and acquiring distressed loans and loan portfolios. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2011, he was a Managing Director in Portfolio Management and Asset Management at Tishman Speyer where he developed and implemented strategies for investments in opportunistic, value-added, and core funds. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Mr. Cohen was an attorney in the real estate department at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobsen.
Mr. Cohen graduated cum laude from Tulane University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management and graduated cum laude from Cardozo School of Law where he received a Juris Doctor.
