Michael Gubenko

Michael Gubenko is an Executive Managing Director in the Client Partner Group leading key initiatives across the Firm's global client base for Sculptor Capital. In this role, Mr. Gubenko is responsible for overseeing the strategic relationships with intermediaries across the globe, encompassing both consultants and wealth managers, partnering with those clients to provide investment solutions that meet their needs. In addition, Mr. Gubenko leads the Portfolio Specialist Group globally, where he is primarily responsible for partnering with the Firm's clients to develop new investment solutions and deliver investment insights on Sculptor's investment businesses.

Prior to joining Sculptor Capital in 2019, Mr. Gubenko was a Managing Director and Global Head of Hedge Funds at J.P. Morgan, where he oversaw a global platform in excess of $40 billion of client assets invested in hedge fund strategies. Earlier in his career, he was involved in portfolio management and investment research at SkyBridge Capital, Thomas H. Lee Capital and Lehman Brothers Alternative Investments.

Mr. Gubenko earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Emory University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
