Hema Athreya

Hema Athreya is a Managing Director and Head of Middle-Back Office Technology for Sculptor Capital. In this role, Ms. Athreya is responsible for technology that supports all post-trade functions including operations, accounting, treasury, portfolio finance, compliance and other control functions. She is also the program manager for Sculptor’s re-engineering program that will transition the Firm’s systems and technology to a next generation portfolio management platform.

Ms. Athreya has over 20 years of experience in building, managing and supporting systems across several alternative asset managers. Prior to joining Sculptor, she held several roles including application development manager at Davidson Kempner Capital Management. Previously, Ms. Athreya held roles as business analyst, project manager and software engineer at Old Lane, Arden Asset Management and Merrill Lynch.

Ms. Athreya holds Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunication) degree from Mumbai University.
